Asana Sessions Combination of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga:

Hatha yoga is also known as the science of purification. When you clear the body of impurities, the nadis function correctly and energy blocks are released. When the rishis discovered the science of hatha yoga, they did not have yoga therapy in mind. Although yoga has proved to be very effective in the treatment of many impossible and incurable diseases, the therapeutic effect of yoga is only a byproduct and incidental. This two asanas are pillars of Modern Yoga. At Shiva Shakti Yoga you’ll learn Hatha Yoga in its pure form.

Pranayama: (Yoga Breathing) Extension and control of breath:

"As long as there is breath in the body, there is life. When breath departs, so too does life. Pranayama words can be divided into two. Prana means, Vital Energy or Universal Energy Or Life Force and Ayama, Control or Extension. A vehicle needs a battery to run the vehicle to always charge. Our battery is our lungs and breath. At Shiva Shakti Yoga we teach how to use the lungs to their maximum capacity and how to control the breath. Proper breathing should be deep, slow and rhythmical.
